What you are buying

A licence to run Wrackline on the number of devices in your plan, for a year from the day the download link is issued. The tables and the predictor live on the device; nothing about your use of it reaches us.

What it is not

Wrackline is an aid to planning and is not a substitute for an official tide table. Do not navigate on it. It is an eight-constituent harmonic prediction. It carries no surge model, no wind, no barometric correction and no river flow, and the residuals we publish are the measure of what that costs. The responsibility for a passage is the skipper's and cannot be transferred to a table.

The survey sheets

The sheets in the app and on this site are drawings produced from a modelled seabed, not bathymetric records, and they are labelled as such wherever they appear. Do not navigate on them.

Refunds

Within thirty days, in full, for any reason, by asking the duty watch on 0191 498 0272. After thirty days, pro rata for whole remaining months.

Changes to the tables

A station's constituents change when its gauge record is re-analysed. When that happens the station page here is updated on the same day and the previous table stays published beside the new one, because a prediction you cannot reproduce is not one you can check.
